blanch house opened in september 2000 and combines excellent service with innovative design in a laid back atmosphere. the idea behind it was to create a small friendly hotel with a big personality.

owned by husband and wife, chris & amanda, blanch house is located in a discreet georgian terrace, just off brighton's seafront. the grade ii listed building offers 12 en-suite rooms, with rates ranging from £100 to £230 per night including continental breakfast, together with a 70's lounge-chic cocktail bar, and a fabulous in-house restaurant. we are also pet friendly and you will get the chance to meet our dog, poulux and our cats, nissan and tom.

each room is en-suite with trevi power showers and aromatherapy associates toiletries. the rooms also include: fogarty goose and duck down duvets and pillows, reylon beds, hairdryers, telephones, blanch house mineral water and coffee and tea making facilities. all rooms have flat screen tvs and dvd players, four rooms have air conditioning. (a selection of dvd's and cd's are available from reception for your viewing and listening pleasure)

all our staff have been with us for a long time, this keeps continuity and fantastic service for all our guests, as our regulars will agree.

please remember that parking is very difficult in brighton, there is pay and display parking on the seafront and vouchers can be bought from reception (when available) but it is not easy or guaranteed unfortunately. there is also free parking available in the marina, a fifteen minute walk from us. however we are only a 5 minute taxi ride from the station and the trains take only 50 minutes from victoria station, london.

also by law blanch house is a no smoking hotel, restaurant and bar.
