weddings & civil partnerships

here at blanch house we offer a unique venue for the perfect intimate and personal occasion. we will personally guide you through every detail and design a totally bespoke wedding just for you. (we don’t believe in wedding packages). we also cater for any budget, from cocktails and nibbles to a 7 course tasting menu with exceptional wines and champagnes. we have a wedding license so you can have the whole event with us and make good use of our 12 individually designed rooms. this works so wonderfully as you can have the whole hotel to yourselves, the ultimate in intimacy and privacy. start off with a champagne breakfast and finish late into the night with cocktails from our award winning bar team. many of our guests make good use of the beach for the wedding photos, which is only a stones throw away from the hotel and makes a perfect back drop to such a perfect day.

• we are licensed to hold marriages at blanch house and can seat up to a maximum of 40 people for the service. we can also provide a video link and screen that can project the ceremony into the bar area for a further 30 guests
• you will have to contact the registrars yourself to book the actual service
• if you have booked the whole hotel, we do not charge for the hire of the restaurant for the ceremony. if you are only having a ceremony we charge a £300 room hire fee for the service
• we can only hire out the restaurant and bar for exclusive use sunday to thursday
• we can provide pre-ceremony drinks in our bar for a maximum of 70 and post ceremony drinks with canapés or snacks for up to a maximum of 80
• our restaurant holds a maximum of 36 for a seated meal
• we will tailor a menu for you at a cost of £36 per head for three courses. we may require you to supply us with individuals’ choices from that menu in advance. alternatively we can offer a hot buffet or canapé reception for up to 80 people
• our bar comfortably holds 45 people. we prefer always to give attention to both our cocktail making skills and guests in this area, however, the restaurant can be used for more space and music/dancing in the evening
• the maximum number of guests we can hold is 80 including bride and groom
• champagne, wine, and or cocktails can be pre-ordered and paid for and of course all couples have individual requirements and we can work with these to create something perfect for your special day
