Blanch House Homemade Shortbread Recipe
Ingredients
226g (8oz) sugar
425g (16 oz) softened butter
680g (24 oz) flour
Method
Cream sugar and butter in mixer. Add flour and mix. Divide in half and pat into place on two separate baking sheets (on top of parchment) then roll out to even thickness (it helps to cover mix with baking parchment before rolling, then remove parchment). Bake at 180 degrees for 25 minutes. While still hot , cut into fingers and sprinkle with sugar.
